The state-of-the-art Compass Minerals National Performance Center is the expansive training home of Sporting Kansas City, capable of hosting clubs and national teams from around the world thanks to its stunning facilities and countless cutting-edge amenities.
It also accommodates the Children’s Mercy Sports Medicine Center at Village West and the U.S. Soccer National Coaching Education Center, making Kansas City the hub for youth athlete sports medicine services and overall soccer development in the United States.

A charter member of Major League Soccer, Sporting KC has won four U.S. Open Cup titles, two MLS Cup championships and one Supporters’ Shield.
U.S. Soccer
As the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States, U.S. Soccer has played an integral part in charting the course for the sport in the USA for more than 100 years.
Children’s Mercy Kansas City
Children’s Mercy Kansas City is nationally recognized for delivering high-quality, compassionate pediatric care. Children’s Mercy is the official healthcare and sports medicine provider for the Sporting Kansas City Academy and the National Development Center.

The world’s first “SuperPitch:” Three side-by-side-by-side full-size soccer fields, specially designed by Sporting Manager Peter Vermes
Two full-size, synthetic turf fields with LED sports lighting surrounding a two-story “Coaching Pavilion” containing classrooms, camera positions and an observation deck.

Sports Performance Gymnasium
A first-of-its-kind collaboration between a professional sports team (Sporting KC), a national sports federation (U.S. Soccer) and a sports medicine provider (Children’s Mercy).
12,870 square feet featuring 2,000 square feet of synthetic turf and a variety of workout and fitness equipment for Sporting KC, U.S. Soccer and all Children’s Mercy sports medicine patients — not just those who play soccer.
U.S. Soccer Coaching Education Center
Two locker rooms, three classrooms with operable walls for courses and seminars, six breakout rooms ideal for small-group interaction, as well as a cafeteria for meals throughout the day.
